Hi, I’m Simon!
Hello and welcome!
I am a professional and caring music educator with a deep passion for helping students succeed. Since 2012, I have been actively involved in music education and performance.
My musical foundation was built at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Bachelor of Music in Composition, I hold dual Licentiate (LTCL) performance diplomas in both Cello and Piano from Trinity College London, as well as an Associate (AMusTCL) diploma in Music Theory. I also hold a Grade 8 Violin and Viola certification from ABRSM.
Beyond the classroom, I have served as the Principal Cellist for the Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra. My performance experience spans across classical, pop, jazz, and modern experimental music, including playing at the Freespace Jazz Fest.
